The Thurber Gang

Sitting down at lunch today, the girls started talking about what they want to be when they grow up. *Everything* that the big girls said, Ella replied, "ME TOO!" The subject morphed into motherhood, and how many kids they want to have. Lillian wants 7 or 13. Madison wants 2 or 3. Vivie wants 'LOTS!' and Ella started out wanting 33. When we said, "Wow, that's a lot of kids!" she decided, "Actually, I don't want any children. I just want a husband. I want to go to a very special place with him." I asked her "What about when you get back from this special place?" and she shrugged her shoulders and said, "mmm. Probably." Looks like I may have *lots* of grandchildren in my future!

Alright, I need to learn not to make promises on here. I didn't post anymore yesterday about what's been going on here. I will do that sometime. . . Milo is just a big kid at heart! With all of the snow that we've had this year, we've had castles in our backyard, and huge snow slides! I'm not sure what he's got planned for the next foot of snow that's been predicted to come tomorrow. . . I can't wait for spring, but in the meantime, the girls are sure loving helping build these creations with their dad!

Since I'll be working on my other blog so much over the next week or so, I might as well be sure to post here as well. I think about posts on a daily basis - and even have things that I've emailed to Lisa that I wanted to copy and paste here . . . maybe I'll do a little of that. . . Today is another snow day!!! This is the FOURTH one this year!! I've heard that now school will have to be extended one day in June - *THAT'S* a bummer. Later on today I'll copy and paste some of the excitement that has plagued us this 2008. It has been CRAZY.
