Thank you

The letters to the Senator have started to come in, and I have to say how grateful we are. It's harder than we thought to ask for help, but at this point, we think it's our best chance to avoid deportation. While we absolutely love Canada, if we go back, Milo won't be able to practice Chiropractic because he doesn't have his license. It would take several grueling, expensive tests and a couple of years before he could once again practice what he absolutely loves doing. If you are interested in sending a letter on our behalf, the information on how to do so is in the post below. The more letters the Senator gets in the next couple of days, the better. Thanks for your continued love and support.

Dear Friends, (Specifically our American, eligible for voting friends!) Under the direction of our (new and improved!) immigration lawyer, we are asking for assistance by participating in a letter-writing campaign to enlist congressional influence. We are hoping that by overwhelming them with letters throughout this coming week, they will be very motivated to help. If you are able, please write a letter in support of our family and send it to the following address. Here are the facts: Our H1-B Visa has expired before a new visa was processed, due to our past immigration specialist’s neglect and misrepresentation. We are currently waiting for our Labor Certification to be approved, which is why we need help. This approval will allow for us to apply for an I-140, which can then secure us another H1-B Visa. Through congressional help, the approval can hopefully be exp...

Update

We are currently trying to put out the first "fire" in regards to our immigration. This is attempting to recapture time on our H1B visa. If/when this is approved by the government, then we can focus on finding a way to remain living and working in the United States. This is the documentation that I'd prepared as of last night. This morning, there were an additional 3 notarized letters, and almost 40 photos that had to be individually notated and time stamped, as well as the documentation sent to the government at the time of the original application. Each time we went out of the Country (we only went to Canada) has it's own 'event', all cross referenced with notarized letters, receipts, ticket stubs, invitations, etc. It's been mind numbing, tedious work, but hopefully all worth it. A HUGE thank you to all of you who provided letters and went through the pain of getting things notarized. We'll keep you updated. . .
