The Great Cake Debacle

We *LOVE* Dairy Queen cakes. LOVE, *L*O*V*E* them. Not only are they about the tastiest things ever, they are ice cream and cake together, so for birthday parties, they are EASY. We've had amazing luck with the artists at Dairy Queen, making beautiful cakes for our daughters that compliment the themes of their parties perfectly. Here are a few examples. . .

Sadly, our 8 year streak of good luck ended when Milo picked up Vivien's 5th Birthday cake, about 30 minutes before the party, and was at a loss when he saw the art work. . . Mucho disappointing. . . but pretty funny!!
(As a point of reference, here is the picture that I brought to them to replicate. . . I just asked for Merliah - the main Barbie)

Oh my gosh...I'm dying laughing just seeing that cake again...by the way, didn't you go to the wrong one? Are the good cake makers still open? I couldn't remember - those cakes are amazing!

I would have asked for a serious discount on the cake. That's not okay to have ended up like that. If you yourself are an artist, you can make DQ ice cream cakes on your own. All you have to do is google the "how to make DQ cakes". Then you could just decorate it yourself. Good luck with the next cake.
